Together, but Apart
We are continuously monitoring the impact of COVID-19 and following guidance from the CDC, the WHO and local health authorities to keep the children, families and ourselves safe and healthy. We have high-risk people in our family so we have been very cautious with our exposure. We can only enroll families/households that follow a 3, 4, or 5 precaution level (see levels below). Our household is in between a level 3 and 4. We'd love to find families that are taking similar precautions as us to create a "pod" with our daycare families.
So you can get an idea of what our household is doing....
We do mostly Amazon & curb-side pick ups and try to limit any time in buildings (like grocery stores, Home Depot, post office, ect...) to no more than 2 hours per week.
We go on frequent masked/distanced walks around the neighborhood and hikes.
We go on one outdoor adventure per week (restaurant patio, outdoor brewery, Zoo, etc...)
We have a small "bubble" of family members that we get together with who are being just as cautious as we are.
We occasionally do small outdoor social distanced gatherings with people outside of our "bubble".
Please see below and feel free to reach out if you have any questions regarding your specific precaution and exposure level.
We can enroll
Teachers and children are not required to wear masks. Teachers always follow mask policies when out on an adventure/field trip. Children over 3 years old are encouraged to wear masks to practice for places that require masks.
CLEANING AND SANITATION
We are taking extra measures to clean and sanitize the Wonder Room every day. Children are included in frequent hand washing and cleaning toys with soap and water daily.
PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF PROCEDURES
We pick up your child from your home in the 80027 at their designated pick-up time and drop them off at home at their designated drop-off time. Parents bring their child to and pick them up from the Wonder Van at the designated times. Parents are asked to wear masks and teachers will wear masks during pick-up/drop-off. Teachers will take the child's temperature and parents are asked to answer a couple quick questions about symptoms.
WE SPEND AS MUCH TIME OUTSIDE AS THE WEATHER WILL ALLOW.
